But with 10:14 left in regulation, Hartford retook the lead 4-3. Tanner Glass with the goal. But again with 9:01 left in regulation the Phantoms battled back to tie the game at 4. Chris Conner with the goal. Martel and Morin get the helpers.
Phantoms get a power play with 8:25 left in regulation. Robin Kovacs to the sin bin for tripping. Hartford killed off the penalty.
Regulation came to a close with the game still tied at 4. So overtime was needed. Shots on goal 32-30 Hartford.
The Phantoms take the first penalty of the period with 16:58 remaining in the period. The call was cross checking on Hagg. Phantom killed the penalty but got another penalty with 12:38 left in the period. Sanheim was called for hooking.

Back to the sin bin were the Phantoms with 4:17 left in the period. Aube-Kubel was called for hooking. With 3:02 left in the period and :45 left in the penalty, the Wolf Pack score to retake lead 2-1. Gilmour gets the goal and assist to Stronwall.
And once again back on the penalty kill with 1:11 left in the period. Hooking to Knight and Wolf Pack score again. 3-1 Hartford with goal by Fontaine with assist to Andesson.
Hartford up 3-1 as the period drew to an end. Shots on goal 26-18 Hartford.
With 16:03 left in the period Hartford scored to take an early 1-0 lead. Goal by Glass with assist to Paliotta and Hrivik.
Phantoms went on the penalty kill as holding called on Sanheim at 4:52. Phantoms killed it off. And with 12:47 left in the period, just after the Sanheim penalty expired, the Phantoms got their own power play. Chris Summers called for interference. With 11:30 left in period and :43 left in the power play, the game went to four on four as Brennan called for cross checking. All penalties expire without scoring.

Less than a minute into the period (with 19:13 left in the period), the Sound Tigers took a 1-0 lead. The goal went under review but it was upheld. Winquist credited with the goal. Assist to Kerns and Verhaeghe.
With 8:42 left in the period Carey was sent to the sin bin for hooking. The Phantoms killed off the penalty.
With 6:15 left in the period the Phantoms went on the power play for the first time in the period. Mayfield called for holding. With 5:29 left in the period and 1:14 left in the power play the Sound Tigers get a short handed goal. Conner Jones gets the goal with an assist from Kellan Jones.
